I'm sorry I'm a little late with the good news, but I'm so happy to say that Clover has now recovered from her upper respiratory infection. I'm so relieved! You can see how healthy she is in the new movies with my 5 other piggies. My Guinea Pigs Movies

Well poor Clover has been visiting the vets again. Thankfully she is fine now, but one of her eyes started being watery, she'd probably poked herself with a strand of hay.

All my piggies and our buns are fine and enjoying the lovely fresh new grass that keeps sproating up in the garden

I'm pleased to announce that I've won a photo competition at the The Guinea Pig Hutch Forum Here is the gorgeous winning prize. Thank you so much Emma for making it for me :)

Peachy celebrated her 4th birthday on the 4th June. She had a lovely birthday with lots of extra treats. I can't believe Peachy is 4 years old, it only seems like yesterday when she was just 6 weeks old, a tiny baby. I'm glad to say everyone is in good health. I'm still trying to find materials for the piggies new cages, hopefully we'll find what we need very soon. Thumper our bunny is now loosing weight, I can certainly see the difference.

Clover visited the vets yesterday. Over weekend she started refusing her pieces of bell pepper that she normally loves. I always become suspicious if I notice any slight change in my piggies behaviour. She did manage a little carrot with no trouble, so I assumed that she didn't have a tooth problem. Late sunday evening she became a little withdrawn and her poops were slightly misshapen but not loose. I syringed fed her some probiotic in water and gave her a little unsweetend cranberry juice in case a urinary tract infection was starting again. Clover is now on a small course of antibiotics. I'm continuing to give her probiotic, she's managing to eat hay and I'm supplementing her diet with a few syringes of mashed pellets. Her poops are now formed, but a little soft, so she isn't having much green food. So far she isn't as poorly as last time. Fingers crossed my little girl will be alright. I'll update my diary in a weeks time to let you know how Clover is doing.

Jake, Sweetpea and Squeekie celebrated their 3rd birthday this month, my lovely threesome had a great birthday! I tried to make them a veggie type cake, using sliced carrots as candles. I don't think they were very impressed as they dived in and messed it up :)
