We have another to celebrate, my dear Squeekie is 6 today, Happy Birthday my Mr. Rumbles :)
Below are some pictures of Squeekie's birthday pignic. I have also taken video's of both Beatrix and Squeekie celebrating their birthdays in the garden. Hope you enjoy them. I've also included a mini movie of me singing Happy Birthday to Squeekie.
I recorded it for myself but thought I'd be very brave and put it up on my youtube page.
You might decide to put your fingers in your ears though lol but I'm sure you'll enjoy the video if not the soundtrack. I think Squeekie enjoyed it, well he didn't run for cover lol

My little Beatrix celebrates her first birthday today, Happy Birthday my darling Beatrix xx.

Just to let our visitors know that I now have many of my guinea pig movies on YouTube featuring both my past and present guinea pigs. Beatrix and Squeekie were out in the garden a couple of weeks ago for the first time this year. They are now going out regular if the rain stays away.
Here is a movie I made of Beatrix and Squeekie in the garden enjoying the great outdoors, hope you enjoy it.

I think summer has finally arrived here in England. I'll be having Squeekie and Beatrix out in the garden for a little while today and will take some movies and pictures. It will be Beatrix's first time in the garden but I'm sure she will soon settle down having Squeekie by her side eating lovely fresh grass.
I have now added more new pictures to Squeekie and Beatrix's pages and a couple on our bunny Thumpers page. I'm hoping to find time to add lots of new movies to YouTube and will let you know when I have.
I've also added a new page to my guinea pig care area called 'The Guinea Pig Restraint Bag'. They are to help vets avoid unnecessary anaesthetic when giving a guinea pig an x-ray or performing rodent dentistry. They are also useful if you need to hand feed your guinea pig and are unable to keep them still. Written by my friend Karen who is a trained Rodentologist. I was so impressed with the bags, I asked Karen if I could create a page about them at Jackie's Guinea Piggies to help owners become even more aware that they are available. Thanks so much Karen for allowing me to use your words and pictures, I just know they will be very popular.
So pleased to say piggies Squeekie and Beatrix are in good health and also our bunny Thumper. I really am pleased Beatrix has settled in so well with us. She has now started licking my arm when I hold her :) and her confidence is becoming outstanding.
Just wanted to show our visitors this very cute video of a baby monkey who we visited at Chester Zoo this week. He turns around and licks the glass, so adorable. I'm a member of Chester Zoo and will now be a regular visitor. Hopefully I'll have more video's to show you soon.
